About Us

Swan

Forth2Clyde is a new mountain bike tour company based near Hamilton, operating primarily along the central belt of Scotland.

Our Aim

We are looking to become a Community Interest Company in the near future to give back to the area around us.

Our primary focus is promoting a greater appreciation of the environment and remote locations within communities.
We aim to promote health and well being within our participants and increase their knowledge of the area around them and their personal skills.

Our emphasis is on offering tailored biking sessions, enabling visitors of all ages and abilities to enjoy their time in the outdoors, and to be pleased with what they achieve and experience there. Forth2Clyde is run by experienced outdoor instructors from a variety of disciplines who specialise in delivering the very best in outdoor activity focused experiences for groups of all types, and within those groups to individuals of all ages and abilities.

How do we achieve this?

We concentrate on easy to access locations that minimise our environmental impact, we follow biking programs that promote skill development that are not limited to just biking skills and we also provide scenic rides that show off the beauty of Scotland even in some urban areas.
This attitude towards the outdoor environment combined with the actual activities will provide a fun environment to not only learn a new physical skill but to improve on life skills such as being independent and self supporting.

We work together with local organisations, businesses and council facilities to utilise the facilities around us.
By providing support and knowledge to individuals in a community, as that person grows, the benefit is felt by the community.
As we provide people with new skills, achievements and viewpoints they become a stronger and more responsible individual.

We aim to promote or run activity clubs to support people through participation and help them to feel part of a group and achieve a sense of belonging.
Within these groups the participants will be given different responsibilities to provide them with a varied experience that will give them more emotional tools to benefit their future experiences.
